Spring! Is it Your Thing?

Spring Tags with Homemade Screens

My Craft Spot

Monday Challenge #93 - Tags

InkaDinkaDoo dragonfly stamp.  CTMH  banner stamp.  Artiste dress form.

Cloud 9 Design stamp.  Artiste bird.

Bazzill Chips key.  Artiste lock.  Unknown map stamp.

Cloud 9 Design stamp.  Artiste banner & Eiffel Tower.
I love, love, love tags, so entering a spring-themed tag for MCS's tag challenge was a no brainer!  I tried something new by creating my own screens cut out of basic office supply store acetate with some fun Cricut cuts.

I then inked them with combinations of LSG's awesome sprays and Distress Inks.  I used copies of amazing vintage papers to cut out the images and just adhered them down with Zip Dry.  A final touch with some sentiment stamps and an additional chipboard element and voila - beautiful, layered, collage-inspired tags with bright spring colors and themes.

Cardstock:  Petersen Arne
All tags cut from Plantin Schoolbook on my Gypsy.

Homemade stencils from various carts using ordinary office supply acetate.

Some of my selected carts.

Some supplies.
Thanks for stopping by for a look!
